Senior Quantity Surveyor – Rail & Infrastructure is sought for a major project at Manchester Airport. The role focuses on commercial management, cost forecasting and NEC contract administration within a civil engineering and rail environment.

You will work four days on site with one day remote, reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and collaborating with the commercial team to deliver cost control and procurement excellence.

Formación

• Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or equivalent commercial role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and procedures.
• Experience in cost forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting.
• Procurement and subcontract management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain accurate cost forecasts and financial control on the project.
• Support the Managing Quantity Surveyor with commercial reporting and overall project performance.
• Administer NEC contracts (Option A, C) and subcontract arrangements.
• Manage subcontract procurement, administration and commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and commercial processes.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance to the wider team and take ownership of key commercial duties.
