AM Global is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on rail, highway and aviation programmes in the UK. The role offers regular site engagement (2–3 days per week) around London, with collaboration across contractors and client teams to ensure accurate commercial outcomes.

You will manage workstreams end-to-end, prepare cost plans and reports, and mentor junior staff while upholding governance and NEC contractual requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience delivering cost management across rail, highway, aviation or wider infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including compensation events and compliant commercial delivery.
• Proven leadership with mentoring junior colleagues and strong stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to manage work packages end-to-end.
• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying; professional qualification (RICS) preferred; CSCS card required or willingness to obtain.

Aufgaben

• Lead and deliver cost management activities across schemes and defined packages from inception to completion.
• Prepare, manage and present cost plans, budgets, estimates and financial reports.
• Review and analyse complex commercial data to identify risks, opportunities and trends with clear recommendations.
• Coach and support junior team members to maintain high delivery standards.
• Track budgets, monitor expenditure and manage variances within governance and financial systems.
• Offer advice on risk management, compliance and assurance per contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building productive relationships and promoting best practice.
• Engage proactively with clients, provide updates, resolve issues and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
