The Senior Quantity Surveyor role is based at Manchester Airport, focusing on enhancing the railway station and increasing rail capacity on a major infrastructure project. You will manage project costs, forecast outcomes and supervise subcontract commercial activities within the wider commercial team.

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor or equivalent commercial role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and their commercial requirements.
• Experience in cost forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting.
• Experience administering NEC Option A subcontracts.
• Experience with NEC Option C contracts and their commercial requirements.
• Experience in procurement and subcontract management.
• Ability to guide and mentor teammates within a commercial team.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain accurate cost forecasts and financial control.
• Support the Managing Quantity Surveyor with commercial reporting and project performance.
• Administer NEC contracts (Option C main, Option A subcontracts).
• Manage subcontract procurement, administration and commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and commercial processes.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Provide commercial guidance to the wider team including junior staff.
• Work autonomously and own key commercial responsibilities.
