Zusammenfassung

People Group Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the rail client’s commercial team on small to medium projects on a light rail network in Manchester. The role is full-time with an immediate start and a fixed term until 31 March 2027, hybrid working (3 days in the office, remainder from home).

You will review and assess applications for payment and compensation events, provide contract administration support on a range of contracts, and deliver day-to-day commercial support.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor, ideally within rail or the wider infrastructure sector.
• A good grasp of contract administration including payment applications and change; NEC knowledge will be gained as contracts move to NEC.

Quantity Surveyor - Rail - client side

Location: Manchester (hybrid: 3 days per week in the office, remainder working from home)

Contract: Full-time, immediate start until 31 March 2027, with the possibility of extension

Rate: £300-£400 per day (inside IR35)

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team across small to medium sized projects on a light rail network.

You'll work closely with a senior quantity surveyor and provide contract administration support and help to keep the commercial side of the operation running smoothly.

• Provide contract administration support across a range of contracts
• Deliver wider day to day commercial support to the team

To be considered you will have:

• A degree or similar in Quantity Surveying
• Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor, ideally within rail, or at least within the wider infrastructure sector
• A good grasp of contract administration (they use a bespoke contract, but will move to NEC in the future) including payment applications and change
