Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead procurement strategies, manage NEC contract terms, and oversee cost estimation and governance across the Capital Programme.

You will collaborate with project stakeholders, evaluate routes, negotiate terms, and administer contracts, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. Travel is required; UK licence expected. Sponsorship for qualifications is available.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or procurement professional.
• Strong understanding of NEC 4 contracts (Option A, C, E).
• Experience in cost control, reporting and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement procurement strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Establish and negotiate NEC 4 contracts with the supply chain.
• Administer contracts across project lifecycles and assess payment applications.
• Support cost estimation, budgeting and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and internal governance.
