Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial leadership across the Clean Water Capital Investment Programme and manage a portfolio of projects valued from multi-million to mid-range figures.

The role covers procurement, negotiation, cost control, forecasting, change, claims and final accounts, with NEC contract experience and strong Excel skills. Based at Raynesway in Derby, some travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering or regulated capital-delivery environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects through their commercial lifecycle.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts; strong analytical and Excel skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership across our Clean Water Capital Investment Programme.
• Manage portfolio of projects from procurement through to delivery and final account.
• Control costs and manage commercial risk to secure strong outcomes for customers and communities.
• Influence stakeholders and supply-chain partners in a regulated environment.
