National Grid is seeking a senior Quantity Surveying professional to lead the commercial management of a major multi‑sub‑project programme across the UK. You will drive contract strategy, procurement delivery and cost control to safeguard value and align with project goals.

With NEC4 contract knowledge and strong stakeholder engagement, you will oversee spend, risk, and cost forecasting while coordinating with project teams, finance, and legal colleagues. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering multiple projects with strong contract and commercial management
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and manage risk across project lifecycles
• Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts (Options A, C and E)

Responsabilités

• Lead commercial management of major projects and sub-projects
• Oversee procurement activities for packages valued over £100m
• Ensure contract compliance, monitor spend, KPIs and cost forecasts
• Prepare contract forms, valuations, payments and variations, and support dispute resolution
• Build relationships with Project Managers, Accountants, legal and procurement teams
