Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Cost & Commercial Manager to lead cost planning, procurement and post-contract financial management for building and infrastructure projects from Canary Wharf, London.

You will join a diverse PMCM team of around 400 colleagues and will have opportunities for mentoring, training and career growth within a global consultancy with a strong London presence.

Qualifications

• MRICS or AssocRICS or working towards a professional qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge, ability and experience around QS / Cost & Commercial competencies.
• Management, project leadership and delivery experience where applicable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Flexible, adaptable workload handling.
• Familiarity with CostX and CEMAR.
• Working knowledge of NEC and / or JCT Contracts.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead QS commercial services on projects, depending on seniority.
• Mentor staff, bid writing and contributing to winning work.
• Represent WSP UK at industry events and client meetings.
• Provide cost planning, procurement and post-contract financial management.
