Job summary

Galliford Try's Thames team invites a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Hampton with travel to project sites. You will handle commercial administration and financial performance for a major project or multiple schemes, coordinating with operations and engineering to keep site records and report costs.

Responsibilities include interim assessments, notices, changes, and compensation events, plus preparing payment applications and cost/value reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of construction and standard contract forms.
• Experience with CEMAR and Oracle.
• CSCS card and a relevant degree or substantial commercial experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prices and programmes and associated documents.
• Carry out interim assessments, contract notices and changes, including compensation events.
• Prepare client payment applications and maintain cost/value reconciliations.
• Maintain expenditure forecasts and subcontractor liabilities.
• Attend weekly meetings with clients and subcontractors; advise bid teams on contractual matters.
