Job summary

Galliford Try Plc is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Thames team. You will support the Framework Commercial team and work with Pre-Construction, Design and Delivery colleagues on commercial administration, reporting and performance for a major project or several smaller schemes.

You will prepare subcontract documentation, manage change processes, submit monthly applications and produce detailed CVRs and cost reports while ensuring site records are accurate and compliant.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant degree or equivalent experience in a commercial or construction environment.
• CSCS card relevant to role.
• Good understanding of standard forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commercial administration, reporting and performance of a large project or multiple schemes.
• Prepare subcontract documentation including terms, pricing and programme requirements.
• Manage subcontract work packages, interim assessments and change management.
• Produce and issue commercial notices to clients and subcontractors.
• Support change management including Compensation Event Quotations.
• Prepare, submit and support monthly applications to the client.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure records are accurate and compliant.
• Produce detailed monthly reports and CVRs.
• Maintain cost plans including expenditure tracking and forecasting.
