Job summary

CSC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major £76m DfE school project in Thurston, Suffolk. You will take ownership of the commercial delivery and work closely with the project team to ensure successful financial and contractual outcomes.

The role requires a strong main contracting background, experience on sizeable new-build schemes, and ability to manage procurement, payments and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience with major new-build construction projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual management skills.
• DfE project experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for the project and lead the commercial delivery.
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor packages.
• Prepare and review subcontract documentation and payments.
• Manage cost reporting, forecasting, variations, and final accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with client and supply chain.
