Conrad Consulting is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy in London. You will deliver cost management, lead procurement and manage projects from inception to completion across a diverse portfolio of major building schemes for high-profile clients.

We are seeking a proactive professional with NEC contract experience, strong client-facing skills and a commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment.
• Strong experience delivering building projects.
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Excellent cost management and commercial skills.
• Strong client-facing and communication abilities.
• A proactive, confident and commercially minded approach.
• The ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of projects.
• Healthcare sector experience would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality quantity surveying and cost management services.
• Take responsibility for projects from inception through to completion.
• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets and financial reports.
• Lead procurement and tendering activities.
• Manage project costs, forecasts and commercial reporting.
• Work confidently with NEC contracts.
• Identify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to clients and project teams.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Travel to project sites across the UK as required.
