Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of projects across the capital, on a permanent, office-based basis, from tender through final account. You will lead subcontract procurement and package management, own monthly cost value reconciliation, manage changes and claims, and report to senior management while mentoring junior commercial staff.

• Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
• Strong command of NEC and JCT, including change control.
• Experience on groundworks packages desirable.
• Experience delivering projects independently and reporting on commercial performance.

A London main contractor is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of projects across the capital. This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is permanent and office based, covering the full commercial cycle from tender to final account.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have input into how packages are procured and managed, and will report directly to senior management.

What the Senior Quantity Surveyor will need

• Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
• Strong command of NEC and JCT, particularly change control and notice provisions
• A civil engineering background or experience on groundworks packages is desirable
• Experience running projects independently and reporting on commercial performance
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, or equivalent experience
• Right to work in the UK
