Job summary

Conrad Consulting is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its civil and infrastructure team on major UK utilities and infrastructure projects. You will take commercial ownership, manage contracts from award to final account, and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to deliver value and performance.

The role requires a Chartered or degree-qualified QS with NEC experience, strong commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, telecoms, or related sectors.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing multiple projects or a significant project portfolio.
• Experience with NEC contracts would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of infrastructure and utilities projects.
• Manage projects from contract award through to final account.
• Prepare, submit and negotiate applications for payment.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Identify, manage and maximise commercial opportunities.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
