Job summary

FM Conway is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Major Projects division. Based at our Sevenoaks Head Office, you will manage commercial activities, provide expert advice, and oversee change control across major projects. A degree in Quantity Surveying and a CSCS card are essential, with knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts.

You will lead risk and cost control, drive procurement strategy, monitor forecasted costs and actively develop the commercial team within the projects portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of JCT, ICE and NEC contracts.
• CSCS card essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract.
• Lead and drive the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors.
• Maintain awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control are adhered to.
• Monitor and report forecast against cost and value and the management of cashflow.
• Oversee and manage the commercial team on contracts and support their development.
