Job summary

Carrington West seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on the EKFB section of HS2, managing NEC contracts and subcontractor packages for major infrastructure works. You will own cost control, change management and commercial reporting, working from Milton Keynes with hybrid office attendance and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

Experience delivering major infrastructure projects for a main contractor.
Extensive NEC contracts experience (prefer NEC3).
Proven ability to manage subcontractor packages, change, cost reporting and administration.

Responsibilities

Take commercial ownership of major infrastructure packages, including costs, budgets and forecasts.
Administer NEC contracts and manage change and compensation events.
Oversee subcontractor packages: procurement, valuations, payments, variations and final accounts.
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities with accurate reporting.
Collaborate with project teams to support HS2 programme delivery.
