Job summary

Novus Property Solutions in Stoke on Trent is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for fast track fit out and refurbishment projects. The role blends home/office and on-site work with hybrid pattern; travel and overnight stays are expected, 37.5 hours per week.

You will prepare and evaluate cost information, liaise with contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure profitability and value in a live environment. Experience in hotel/education/retail refurbishments and JCT design & build is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor in live refurb/fast fit projects.
• Knowledge of JCT design and build contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; IT proficient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
• Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client’s representative.
• Prepare monthly cost valuation reports.
• Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.
• Manage sub contractors from procurement through to mobilisation.
• Assist in the development of the procurement programme from handover to estimating.
• Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications and requirements.
• Attend meetings with colleagues and clients to build relationships and communicate effectively.
