Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for our Stoke on Trent base with hybrid working (home/office) and site travel. You will support fast track fit-out and refurbishment projects across Leisure, Education and Retail sectors in a live environment.

You will be responsible for cost estimation, procurement coordination, cash flow forecasting, and payment applications, liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure profitability and value.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in refurbishment/fast track environments.
• Strong cost estimation and procurement coordination abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and update cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
• Submit monthly applications for payment to clients/representatives.
• Prepare monthly cost valuation reports and ensure timely payments.
• Value and authorize payments to sub-contractors.
• Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications.
• Attend meetings with clients and colleagues, maintaining clear communication.
• Assist in preparation of estimates, bids and tenders under tight deadlines.
• Manage sub-contractors from procurement through mobilisation.
