Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager / Commercial Manager for its Energy & Natural Resources practice. The role focuses on performance, cost control, and value engineering across major programmes, with opportunities to shape governance and commercial strategy within a leading consultancy.

The successful candidate will bring NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience, a relevant degree or HNC, and a track record in energy or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Degree or HNC level qualification
NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience
Cost / commercial management experience on Energy or Infrastructure projects
Experience of working on major programmes or project portfolios
Professional Chartership (preferable)

Responsibilities

Take ownership of performance and quality, delivering client‑focused outputs.

Collaborate with colleagues and clients, build strong relationships and maintain a professional approach.
Communicate clearly and constructively, supporting productive ways of working and addressing challenges professionally.
Administer and manage contracts, ensuring accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management and cashflow control.
Work with client and contractor teams to deliver KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering.
