Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Energy & Natural Resources practice in Glasgow. The role focuses on cost management, contract administration and performance improvement across major energy projects.

You'll own cost monitoring, forecasting and commercial leadership, collaborating with clients and contractors to meet KPIs while steering final accounts through governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC level qualification.
• NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience on energy or infrastructure projects.
• Cost / commercial management experience on energy or infrastructure programmes.
• Experience managing major programmes or project portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of performance, quality, and client outputs.
• Plan and execute work, identify value opportunities, escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients with professional, respectful approach.
• Administer and manage contracts with cost monitoring and change control.
• Work with client/contractor teams to deliver KPIs and value engineering.
