Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Management / Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join our Energy & Infrastructure team in the UK. The role focuses on cost control, performance monitoring, value engineering and strong contractual administration across major energy and infrastructure programmes.

The successful candidate will bring NEC3/4 or FIDIC experience and a professional charter, working with client and contractor teams to ensure governance and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost/commercial management on Energy or Infrastructure projects.
• Experience on major programmes or project portfolios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with client-focused outputs.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of performance and quality, delivering reliable outputs for clients.
• Plan and execute work, identify value opportunities and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients, building strong working relationships and maintaining professionalism.
• Communicate clearly to support productive working practices and address challenges.
• Administer and manage contracts, ensuring accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change control and cashflow.
• Work with client and contractor teams to deliver KPIs, programme performance and value engineering within governance.
• Provide commercial leadership, improve forecast accuracy and secure timely final accounts.
• Capture lessons learned and support knowledge management improvements.
