Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Cost Management / Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for its Energy & Infrastructure portfolio within the Natural Resources team. The successful candidate will apply analytical and problem-solving skills to cost control, forecasting and governance across energy and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or HNC level qualification.
• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts.
• Cost/commercial management experience on energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience on major programmes or project portfolios.
• Professional Chartership is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of performance and quality, delivering reliable outputs for clients.
• Plan and execute work effectively, identifying opportunities to add value and escalate where needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients, building strong working relationships.
• Communicate clearly, supporting productive ways of working and addressing challenges.
• Administer and manage contracts with accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management and cashflow control.
• Work with client and contractor teams to deliver KPIs, programme performance and value engineering.
• Provide sound commercial leadership, improving forecast accuracy and ensuring timely final accounts.
• Capture lessons learned and support knowledge management within internal systems.
