A leading global consultancy is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Cost Management team in Glasgow. Responsibilities

  • Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.

  • Pro-actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.
  • Manage contract change effectively.
  • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budget.

Project Quantity Surveyor - Energy & Natural Resources

Join to apply for the Project Quantity Surveyor - Energy & Natural Resources role at Turner & Townsend.

The Cost Management team in Glasgow are undergoing a period of growth. Due to increased client demand we are seeking to expand our current capability. This role offers the opportunity to work on industry‑leading Energy projects with high‑profile clients, develop consultancy skills, and diversify sector experience.

We support hybrid working and are open to part‑time applications.

Job Objectives
  • Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  • Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
  • Manage contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance frameworks and adopt best practice.
  • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budget.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working within the renewables sector, hydrogen, and carbon capture.
  • Degree or HNC level qualification.
  • Knowledge of NEC 3/4.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
