Job summary

Kenton Black Limited in Glasgow is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major infrastructure and energy projects across Scotland. You will manage budgets, subcontracts, variations and final accounts, working closely with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.

We seek a proven track record with leading contractors, strong cost control and contractual skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to maximise value on complex substation,

Qualifications

• Experience with leading main contractors or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractor procurement and administration.
• Excellent cost reporting, forecasting and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and administer subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Produce cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow analysis.
• Monitor project budgets and commercial performance.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support procurement activities and subcontractor negotiations.
• Manage change control and contractual matters.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to meet objectives.
• Maintain relationships with clients and supply chain.
