Job summary

Turner & Townsend are currently recruiting for Professionals within our Natural Resources team to support our expanding New Energy & Natural Resources segment. You will work on iconic commissions for key clients, with clear career development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in cost / commercial management on energy or infrastructure projects, with strong planning, forecasting and governance skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC level qualification.
• Experience with NEC3/4 or FIDIC.
• Cost / commercial management experience on Energy or Infrastructure projects.
• Experience working on major programmes or project portfolios.
• Professional Chartership (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of performance and quality, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills while delivering reliable outputs for clients.
• Plan and execute work effectively, identifying opportunities to add value and knowing when to act independently or escalate for support.
• Collaborate positively with colleagues and clients, contributing to team discussions and maintaining a professional, respectful approach.
• Communicate clearly and constructively, supporting productive ways of working and addressing challenges professionally.
• Administer and manage contracts, ensuring accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, change management and control of variances and cashflow.
• Work closely with client and contractor teams to deliver on KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering, ensuring governance and best practice.
• Provide sound commercial leadership, driving improvements in forecast accuracy and timely agreement of final accounts.
• Capture lessons learned and support knowledge management and internal process improvements.
