Job summary

Walker & Sloan are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of major data centre projects in Slough, Berkshire. You will work with Project Managers and the wider delivery team to ensure profitable delivery and strong client relationships.

Ideally, you bring a proven track record in main contracting with experience across procurement, cost reporting and final accounts, plus strong negotiation and risk-management skills for mission-critical developments.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management within a main contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, subcontractor management and cost reporting.
• Proven ability to manage variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of major data centre packages.
• Oversee financial and contractual performance of projects.
• Procurement and subcontractor management from start to finish.
• Prepare cost reporting, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
