Reinforced Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major data centre project in Canary Wharf. You’ll take commercial responsibility from procurement through to final account, delivering major packages on a high-profile construction programme.

You bring strong main contractor experience on large commercial new-builds, with proven procurement, cost reporting and contract management skills. Data centre exposure is desirable but not essential, with clear path to Commercial Manager.

Formación

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong main contractor experience.
• Experience on large commercial new-build projects.
• Able to manage major packages independently.
• Procurement, cost reporting and subcontract management experience.
• Understanding of construction contracts and commercial risk.
• Data centre experience is useful but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Managing the commercial delivery of major construction packages.
• Procuring subcontractors and negotiating contract terms.
• Managing valuations, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Producing cost reports, forecasts and cash-flow information.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks.
• Working closely with the project and senior commercial teams.
• Attending and leading commercial meetings.
• Managing contractual notices, EOTs and loss and expense claims.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
• Helping ensure the project is delivered within budget.
