Job summary

Walker & Sloan in West London is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery on a major data centre project. You will coordinate closely with the Project Director, Project Managers, Design Managers and specialist subcontractors to drive programme performance and ensure safety, quality and operational excellence.

This is a senior role offering significant ownership and long-term career progression within a specialist contractor delivering mission-critical

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering major construction projects.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP works.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction activities to align with programmes, specs and quality standards.
• Coordinate specialist subcontractors and sequencing for efficient delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigations to protect schedule.
• Collaborate with design and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Promote health, safety and quality throughout the construction lifecycle.
