Job summary

Exentec Hargreaves in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to oversee commercial aspects of construction projects. The role requires NEC and JCT contract knowledge, multi-site experience, and a proven ability to manage internal and external reporting.

You will support budgeting, cost control and value engineering, mentor junior surveyors, and contribute to valuations, final accounts and procurement activities across projects.

Qualifications

• BSc Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management or similar.
• Working knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract.
• Multi-site experience.
• Experienced in holding responsibility for a project including all internal / external reporting.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist on managing, monitoring, and reporting on commercial aspects of Projects.
• Identify commercial risk, opportunities, value engineering and change.
• Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure (CVR).
• Forecasts for future revenue, costs and cashflow and ensure accuracy before reporting.
• Provide valuations and financial statements for compensation events and final accounts.
