Size Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on high-end prime residential projects. You will drive cost planning, procurement strategy, contract administration, and change management to maximise value.

You will mentor junior colleagues, manage budgets, CVRs, and monthly valuations, while sustaining strong client and subcontractor relationships. A 7–10 year QS track record and JCT experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally with a main contractor.
• Senior Quantity Surveyor level with ability to manage projects independently.
• Strong background in prime residential sector; structural experience desirable.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of JCT contract forms.
• Excellent commercial acumen with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Leadership to lead, influence, and challenge at all levels.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Aufgaben

• Lead cost forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial reporting across projects
• Take ownership of subcontractor procurement, negotiation, payments, and performance management
• Manage and review monthly valuations, CVR, and commercial reporting
• Proactively manage risk and opportunity registers, providing strategic mitigation and value engineering solutions
• Provide commercial leadership and mentorship to junior team members where appropriate
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
