Job summary

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader for an established UK firm with significant blue-chip client exposure. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring robust cost reporting, cash flow management and forecasting across multiple projects and business units.

You will drive commercial strategy, maintain strong client relationships, oversee subcontract negotiation and financial accounting, and mentor junior staff within a supportive management structure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at project and business unit level
• Ensure accurate cash flow reporting
• Carry out cost management including forecasting
• Update CVR and commercial plans with accountability for performance and strategy
• Ensure commercial processes are adhered to across the business unit
• Engage supply chain with appropriate contract terms and conditions
• Foster good client relationships and manage subcontract letting and financial accounting
• Mentor and supervise Quantity Surveyors and coordinate with site teams
