Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction consultancy in Randburg. You will oversee cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and financial reporting across large commercial projects, ensuring budgets are met and value engineering is applied.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Quantity Surveying or construction economics, SACQSP accreditation is desirable, with 7+ years of experience, strong contract knowledge (FIDIC), and willingness to travel

Competenze

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
7+ years of quantity surveying experience on large commercial projects.
Knowledge of FIDIC and standard forms of contract.

Mansioni

Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for large commercial construction projects.
Manage tendering: evaluate bids and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle and track variances.
Prepare financial reports for stakeholders, including progress payments and forecasts.
Manage claims and variations; negotiate resolutions.
Conduct site visits to verify valuations.
Provide cost-saving and value engineering advice.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
