Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a senior commercial professional to lead cost management across complex construction programmes in the UK. You will monitor budgets, forecast outcomes and manage contract cash flow with NEC3, Option C, ensuring governance and timely applications.

You will collaborate with client and contractor teams to drive value, control changes and optimise final accounts, while mentoring project teams and promoting best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts (Option C preferred).
• Strong cost management and financial forecasting capabilities.
• Ability to manage change control and valuation processes.
• Proven track record in cost reporting and governance.
• Experience in procurement, risk management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget.
• Proactively manage cost variance and contract cash flow; ensure timely and correct applications.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs and programme performance.
• Manage contract changes, governance and best practices.
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy; provide support to stakeholders.
• Negotiate final accounts and lead project teams as required.
