Job summary

Hunter Savage in Magherafelt is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial build team. You will manage project costs, budgets, procurement, and reporting across UK projects, with a focus on £5M+ schemes.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying and 5+ years' experience with a main contractor, strong numeracy, and excellent communication. Occasional travel weekly/bi-weekly is expected as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role with a main contractor.
• Sound knowledge of commercial construction methods and processes.
• Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel weekly/bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of project costs and budgets.

• Monitor project progress, variations, and valuations.
• Prepare tender documents and reports.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior QS with 5-10 years' experience to take on commercial projects across the UK.
