Job summary

VanRath are partnering with a leading Main Contractor based in Mid Ulster, seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their vibrant team and help deliver high-profile developments.

You will manage procurement, valuations, cost reporting, variations, and final accounts across diverse healthcare, residential and commercial projects across the UK and Ireland, with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent.
• Strong main-contractor experience and track record on significant new-build projects.
• Excellent commercial, contractual, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly across UK projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and commercial aspects of subcontract packages.
• Conduct monthly valuations, cost reporting, and CVRs.
• Oversee variations, contractual entitlement, and final accounts.
• Collaborate closely with Contracts, Site, and Design teams.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and report to senior management.
