Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on multiple design & build projects. The role involves ensuring financial performance, contract compliance and successful delivery across office-based work with regular site visits.

You should have proven senior QS or commercial management experience, with strong knowledge of JCT contracts, and the ability to manage budgets, cost reporting and client applications for payment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
• Background within commercial construction, refurbishment, fit-out or design & build projects.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and commercial software.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets and valuations.
• Manage subcontract procurement and negotiate packages.

An established and highly respected design and build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team.

This role will suit a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a Managing Surveyor position, or an experienced Managing Surveyor seeking a new challenge within a growing business.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
