Responsibilities

  • Guide project teams in high-profile construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Produce detailed estimating, cost planning, and present final cost plans to clients.
  • Manage post-contract cost variances and oversee cost management throughout projects.
  • Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Oversee cost checks, valuations, and provide accurate cost management throughout large-scale projects.
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present these to clients.
  • Contribute to value engineering and negotiate final accounts.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other consultants at all stages of the project lifecycle.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in guiding clients and their project teams through a variety of exciting and high-profile construction projects. From inception to completion, your expertise will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be providing invaluable commercial and qualitative advice, making key decisions that drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in feasibility studies and develop procurement reports.
  • Produce detailed estimating and cost planning, presenting final cost plans to clients.
  • Lead tendering and procurement activities, managing the pre-qualification stage.
  • Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Oversee cost checks, valuations, and provide accurate cost management throughout large-scale projects.
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present these to clients.
  • Contribute to value engineering and negotiate final accounts.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other consultants at all stages of the project lifecycle.

  • A proven track record in delivering cost management services across the full project lifecycle.
  • Ideally, you will be professionally qualified (RICS or equivalent).
