We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Services commercial team in Tewkesbury.

The purpose of the role is to successfully manage the MEP project finances and contractual obligations internally and externally, including all subcontract packages, as a member of the project team within prescribed financial margins of the project to the satisfaction of internal and external clients and within the company’s financial targets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake all responsibilities in line with company policies and IMS procedures, including adherence to the Code of Conduct, Contract Performance Procedure, Project Review Management Guidelines, Risk and Opportunity Management Guidelines, Design Management Guidelines, and Project Close out Guidelines.
  • Ensure that the obligations and responsibilities of the Project and other stakeholders are properly fulfilled.
  • Monitor and manage the scope, notices, terms, and conditions of the Contract.
  • Manage contract procedures, payments, variations, and contract entitlements.
  • Oversee dispute management procedures.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Experience managing MEP projects or holding a No 2 position on large MEP projects.
  • Previous experience at QS level managing significant subcontract packages (£5-10M+).
  • Good knowledge of contract and commercial law.
  • Experience with Design and Build forms of contract.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Degree or equivalent in a commercial-related subject.
