Role Overview

The Quality Technician reports to the Technical Manager and ensures our quality systems are effectively implemented, maintaining product quality from raw materials to dispatch. This role is between a standard QA and a Senior QA, offering a salary of £38,834.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively manage process and system controls, educating the team accordingly.
  2. Test incoming raw materials and finished products.
  3. Monitor product quality trends, identify improvements, and collaborate with other departments.
  4. Complete scheduled QA tasks (GMP, calibrations, audits, sampling) timely and follow up on actions.
  5. Investigate non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
  6. Participate in process trials.
  7. Ensure new products, processes, and equipment are integrated smoothly and supported by the Quality Management System.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time, permanent role with a rolling average of 41 hours/week on a shift rotation including days, nights, and weekends, with shifts from 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am, following patterns like 4 on/4 off or 5 on/5 off.
