Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Quality Manager for a well-established food manufacturer in Cheshire.

You will own Quality and Food Safety systems, lead a capable QA team and work closely with Production, Engineering and NPD to keep audit readiness and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Quality Management or 6+ years in senior QA leadership within food/beverage manufacturing, with strong HACCP and auditing knowledge and a passion for mentoring QA

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Quality Management or 6+ years in senior QA leadership in food/beverage manufacturing.
• Bakery sector experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and internal auditing.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and influence cross-department teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing Food Safety, Quality, HACCP and compliance systems to maintain high operational standards.
• Leading audits, retailer visits, customer requirements and continuous improvement activities across the site.
• Investigating quality issues, complaints and non-conformances, implementing robust corrective and preventative actions where required.
• Coaching and developing QA teams while promoting strong food safety and quality standards throughout the business.
