Job summary

Northern Trust in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Specialist, Proposal Management to lead the end-to-end responses to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Relationship Management, Operations and SMEs to deliver accurate, timely, and compelling proposals.

The role emphasizes process improvement, knowledge management, and the adoption of AI-enabled tools to boost efficiency and content quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in proposal, content management, or bid management.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
• Strong project and stakeholder management with attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other proposal responses, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Analyze client requirements and develop tailored, accurate, and compelling written responses.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Relationship Management, Operations, and subject matter experts to support proposal development.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines through effective project planning, prioritization, time management, and change management.
• Review proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and attention to detail.
• Maintain and enhance proposal content libraries and knowledge management resources.
• Engage and influence stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure alignment throughout the proposal process.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team efficiency and proposal quality.
• Support the adoption and utilization of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve proposal creation and content management.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance and support to team members as required.
