Job summary

Borne Resourcing Limited is recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor to support a Kent-based contractor delivering planned maintenance schemes, including a major 702 kitchen and bathroom replacement programme. This permanent role focuses on commercial management, procurement of subcontract packages and cost forecasting.

Ideal candidates will have strong planned maintenance experience, exposure to kitchens/bathrooms refurbishment, and the ability to manage high-volume, programme-led works while

Project Quantity Surveyor | Main Contractor | Planned Maintenance | Kent | Permanent

I'm working with a growing contractor who's secured over £10m of new work and is looking to bring in a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multiple planned maintenance schemes.

A major part of the secured workload includes a programme of 702 kitchen and bathroom replacements, so strong planned maintenance experience is key.

The Role

• Commercial management of planned maintenance programmes
• Major kitchens & bathrooms replacement programme - 702 units
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Valuations, variations, cost reporting and forecasting
• Managing works commercially from procurement through to final account
• Working closely with operational teams and senior leadership
• Supporting additional refurbishment and improvement schemes

What they're looking for

• Project QS / Senior QS level
• Strong planned maintenance experience is key
• Kitchens & bathrooms / internal refurbishment experience highly advantageous
• Comfortable managing high-volume, programme-led works
• Strong procurement, subcontract management and cost reporting experience
• Design & Build experience advantageous, but not essential
