Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a P6 Project Planner to develop and maintain integrated schedules for rail and major infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure schedules meet contractual and governance requirements.

You will produce look-ahead programmes, monitor progress, and provide forecasts and KPI reports. The role offers hybrid working across UK sites and opportunities to contribute to international projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project planning and scheduling for major capital projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project lifecycles, critical-path analysis and change control.
• Proven ability to integrate schedules from multiple disciplines and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Produce look-ahead schedules, variance analyses, forecasts and KPI dashboards.
• Support earned value management and schedule risk assessment as needed.
• Facilitate planning meetings and present schedule updates to stakeholders.
