Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Senior Planner to drive detailed programmes and robust delivery across critical infrastructure projects in the North West. You will lead planning for stages, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and ensure schedules align with contract requirements.

The role requires proficient use of Primavera P6 and MS Project, CSCS/SSSTS qualifications, and a proactive, collaborative approach to problem solving. Travel to sites across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• CSCS and SSSTS qualifications are required.
• Extensive experience in a Senior Planner role.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Understanding of civil engineering principles.
• Strong communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring projects are programmed in P6 to the necessary level of detail for operational delivery.
• Developing detailed project plans and monitoring progress with updated schedules and reports.
• Lead the Plan for Stage process, development of delivery plans and robust sequencing.
• Production of project reports including risks and opportunities.
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to build programmes from scratch.
• Lead and mentor a team of Planners and support growth within the business.
