Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Planner to drive the planning processes on major UK water, energy and environment projects. The role requires strong P6 skills, team leadership, and collaboration with project managers and engineers to deliver robust schedules.

You will develop delivery plans, identify risks, and report milestones while travelling to sites as needed across the operational region. A strong background in civil engineering planning is essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS and SSSTS qualifications are required.
• Considerable experience in a Senior Planner role.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the operational region.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are programmed in P6 to the required detail for delivery teams.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress with updated schedules and reports.
• Lead the Plan for Stage process, delivery plans, and look-ahead sequencing.
• Produce required project reports, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to build programmes from scratch.
• Lead and mentor a team of Planners for growth within the business.
• Report milestones and drive on-time delivery with programme improvements.
