Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects in the UK. You will own delivery from feasibility through handover, manage client relationships and supervise multidisciplinary teams to meet time, budget and quality targets.

The role requires a strong track record in healthcare schemes, solid understanding of RIBA stages and a proactive, commercially aware approach to resolve project challenges.

Qualifications

• We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in healthcare construction projects.
• Experience delivering schemes through multiple RIBA stages from inception to completion.
• Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to own projects and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of healthcare construction projects from initial feasibility and briefing through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear advice and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Managing multidisciplinary consultant teams, contractors and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitoring project programmes, budgets, risks and quality, identifying potential issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Overseeing procurement, tender processes and contract administration where required.
• Preparing project reports, progress updates and recommendations for clients and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinating design development and ensuring project requirements are met, including relevant healthcare standards and operational considerations.
• Supporting business development activities and contributing to the growth of the healthcare project management offering.
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members, helping to develop capability across the wider team.
