Job summary

Telefónica Tech UK&I is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Belfast to lead high-value technology projects. The role combines hands-on execution with strategic governance, mentoring a team of Project Managers and ensuring adherence to the Programme Excellence Framework.

You will report to a Programme Manager and oversee line management responsibilities. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end delivery, manage stakeholders, and maintain rigorous financial tracking, RAID, and change

Qualifications

• Senior Project Manager with hands-on delivery of complex technology projects.
• Line management of a team of Project Managers.
• Experience with governance, RAID management and change control protocols.
• Familiarity with Programme Excellence Framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of complex, high-value projects.
• Maintain hands-on execution and navigate technical ambiguity to milestones.
• Serve as senior point of contact for client escalations with analytical reporting.
• Enforce financial tracking (P&L) in liaison with Commercial Team.
• Directly manage a cohort of Project Managers and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Mentor and coach team to elevate project management capabilities.
• Review project plans and reports to ensure consistency with Programme Excellence Framework.
• Manage team capacity to ensure effective utilization and support.
