Job summary

Gattaca in Watford is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of medium and large-scale engineering projects.

You will develop plans, allocate resources, manage schedules and risks, and coordinate engineering, manufacturing, equipment mobilisation, testing, logistics and offshore support to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget execution.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional stakeholder management, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within an engineering, offshore, energy, manufacturing or related technical environment.
• Experience managing complex equipment projects, including modification, testing, mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical handling equipment and associated project delivery requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, develop project plans and coordinate execution.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience motivating teams and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple medium and large-scale projects, ensuring contractual, technical, commercial, and operational objectives are achieved.
• Develop project plans, resource requirements, schedules, and delivery timelines while proactively managing risks, priorities, and milestones.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, equipment mobilisation, testing, logistics, and offshore support activities for seamless execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, technical specifications, and project tracking systems.
• Provide regular project updates and reporting of progress, risks, and performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through project reviews and client feedback.
