Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Rosyth is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead construction and Estates projects across the LTPA and QinetiQ Freehold Estate. Based in Rosyth, you will manage the full project lifecycle from planning to delivery on a range of works, including refurbishment and new build.

The role requires breadth across building and civil engineering, electrical and mechanical installations, and experience managing budgets and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience with Planning Applications and GPDO processes.
• Detailed knowledge of Building Regulations and Building Control.
• Familiarity with the RIBA process.
• Knowledge of JSP standards.
• Experience with CDM Regulations on construction projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Organise the Project, the project team and its delivery.
• Integrate the project team within the business and ensure a Health and Safety culture.
• Develop junior Project Management competence.
• Define and maintain the aims and objectives of the Project and its scope.
• Define and agree an appropriate budget, deliver the Project within this budget and report progress against the cost plan.
• Manage project documentation including bids, proposals and third-party documentation.
