Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd. invites applications for a Senior Project Manager to lead aviation projects across the UK.

The role is the most senior on the project, guiding the operations team and ensuring delivery meets client expectations for quality, safety and environmental impact within budget. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven Civils project management experience, strong leadership, and a thorough understanding of CDM regulations, with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure

• Proven technical and project management abilities.
• Strong organisational and management skills.
• Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations.
• Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work.
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment.

• Lead the project operations team and drive the delivery to the client on time, meeting quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Oversee planning, programming and budget adherence across multiple UK projects.
• Provide senior guidance and decision-making within the aviation business unit.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Aviation business working on multiple projects across the UK.

The Senior Project Manager is the most senior project based member of staff and is both an integral member of the Project Operations Team and the leader of the Team. The Team is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the project throughout the delivery ensuring the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget.
